Guest guest Posted February 26, 2005 Report Share Posted February 26, 2005 Blessings Everyone! My daughter Leah is improving! She is still admitted in hospital but has visits out! I have learned a lot about myself during the process. I am happy the topic of guides has come up because I have had some experiences that I would like to share. A few years ago, shortly after starting Kundalini yoga I had a life changing experience of crossing over in time and space and meeting my higher self. Now, while chanting or meditating it is like I am transported to a different realm, because I am in the presence of some yogis who are chanting in a circle and I am also in the circle. I audibly hear beautiful music, see them and hear their voices, they are dressed in special robes. While doing a kriya (for the seventh chakra) for the first time, I had the experience of crossing over and meeting a guide who told me I had found the key to this lifetime. The experiences are like simultaneously being in two places, with barriers of time and space removed. There are not too many people I can tell this to because they do not understand. I have had the experience of seeing Yogi Bhajan as well. I find he is very close if called upon. I have had many coincidences surrounding this, such as repeatedly going places and finding his picture, rainbows in the sky, etc. I have had visits from Light Beings from other galaxies, and have been shown connections with Atlantis and Lemuria. I believe they channel through me when I teach yoga, because I surprise myself when the words come out they are so wise. I have been told that I will write books about Light and Energy. All of this since I started Kundalini Yoga! If anyone else has experiences like these I would love to know, since I currently feel a little different with some people thinking all of this is very strange. Blessings & Light, Sangeet Kaur .. Ong namo ... truly does connect us to the teachers that have come before us and all of their combined knowledge is available to us like books in a library only on an intuitive basis. As for your visits with light beings and other galaxies ... well, that is nice too but I wouldn't get too involved in it since our journey on this plane is the one we should concentrate on. And by that I mean our journey to higher consciousness. "Stuff" happens but we needs remember most of all that our soul is crying to be free, beyond the physical, beyond the mental and only in the spiritual. Out of body experiences can sometimes distract us in their beauty and ecstasy when we should only remember that they are ... simply are and that is all. They mean nothing but that we are spiritual beings as well. Being human is hard enough without getting involved in the "maya" of other planes of existences. You are blessed to accept the lessons from what may at first feel like dispair. I have had two experiences with light/energy beings, one when in my childhood. I saw a being made of light or swathed in light standing outside my bedroom window. I was recuperating from the measles. I was a child filled with fear of things that went bump in the night and am still amazed at the feeling of peace and love that flowed between us. In more recent times, at a Zikr while chanting & walking in a circle, I had that sense of being in a cave with many beings, more than were present at Zikr, lit with torches chanting in ceremony and devotion. These are my only clear experiences and they remain very much with me. I am very interested in knowing more of your experience. I am about to undertake my Kundalini Yoga teacher training and have been committed to practising Kundalini yoga for 1 yr. Firstly, I was deeply moved by your honesty when your daughter first went into hospital. I find it amazing and inspiring that you had such faith in this group of people as to reach out to them during such an incredibly personal and difficult time. I too have had a similar experience, 5 yrs ago now, with a family member and certainly did not have the trust in people you do at the time. The one thing I beleive that helped my family member was surrounding them with complete, unconditional love, which I do to this day. I am constantly amazed by the healing power that love has. In regards to the experiences you have been having, I have had some similar ones myself in the past month or so. I have been practicing meditations for the ajna charkra which have directly resulted in these experiences. A few weeks ago I had the sensation of moving through my third eye - which I visually saw in my mind as moving through a flame coloured needle - and into my real/infinite/true self. While there, I felt warm and was surrounded by this flame coloured light and things I had been meditating on for some time become crystal clear to me. It was so clear it was as if I had simply turned the page of a book and there the answer was. I feel that rather than going into the universe with this experience, like you did, I went into myself and received answers that were there waiting to be found. I have since thought of it as this - if we are linked to everything in the universe, then surely these answers are inate, because if we are linked to the universe (and all it holdas)completely then we are the universe. Which comes full circle to what you have experienced and I have in a sense gone out into the universe! I worry that this may be egotistical and have subsequently practied meditations for controlling the ego but still now feel so strongly, that this is true.
