Complaining and victimhood are flip sides of the same drama (in therapy

the complainer/victim would switch roles and play victim/complainer so

that he/she can find some empathy). It's an entanglement that is one of

the most basic aspects, if not the most basic level of the mind's 81

aspects (check out "The Mind" by Yogi Bhajan and Gurucharan Singh at

www.yogatech.com). To BE negative and then to blame someone is pretty

limiting. That really has to move. It doesn't allow for taking the full

responsibility which stems from a refusal to accept guilt or blame. By

refusing to accept responsibility we can never learn life's lessons and

can never find the state of gratitude for the fruits that our sufferings

can give rise to.

This is just my opinion born of personal experience,

Sat Nam Lilinanda,

I giggle because my response is far less eloquent and reflective of a deep

understanding than others I have read...

Complaining serves to announce victimhood & elicit sympathy. Neither provide

growth.
