Guest guest
Hi All, I'm having a really difficult time with the bundle roll. Does anyone know how to do this without it being so jarring to the body. It isn't a roll for me as much a a jar to the body when I flip over from back to front! Thanks mckreil
Guest guest
Sat Nam mckreil, Perhaps the difficulty you are experiencing in bundle roll is because you are not meant to "flip over from back to front!" It is more a continuous roll, powered by the roll before. It should be a smooth rolling motion, use the breath to aid you and push from the hips, letting the rest of the body move with. Keep the arms tight to your side and finally make sure you are on a surface that can absorb your weight, is soft enough to cushion you but not too soft to drag you down. If you have grass-and its not frozen-try it outside first. Hope this helps as bundle roll is very energising, but I agree if not done right can be uncomfortable, Love Guru Sahai Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam Mckreil< I was taught to pull root and neck lock as well as engaging the 'core' muscles of the torso to keep the body as if it were a bundle fo sticks. This does work for my body. Be in Love, Joan
