Guest guest
Sat Nam dear group, I have a friend who has lower back pain and gets very serious headaches, but he is also missing a disk in his lower back, so I am hesitant to prescribe even a simple Spinal Flex series. Any suggestions for kriyas, or perhaps I should start him on a gentle meditation? Thank you kindly for your insight, Satya "As you think, so you are. The mind guides your actions and emotions. Guest guest
Sat nam Satya, Could you please describe this missing vertebra? Was it removed following surgery, accident, birth or what? We need more information, so as to help you. If he is under the guidance of a physician, I would highly recommend getting his O.K., before proceeding! Guest guest
Thank you kindly, Nirmal Kaur, for your insight, I am very hesitant to provide my friend with any exercises that involve his back at this point, but this is where most of his pain stems from, in addition to being mentally stressed out. I believe it was a result of accident/hip replacement surgery, but I will have to reconfirm this. I do know that he can only sleep on his back, which is the least painful position for him, as it stretches it out. What do you think about just a breath walk? He takes his dogs for a walk daily, so perhaps just simply having him concentrate on his breath more may be a good start. I do have the breathwalk book.
