Guest guest
Sat Nam Ashraf, I have noticed similarities between the Sufi discipline and Kundalini Yoga, same as i have noticed them in taoism, Buddhism, kabbalah and through my practice of Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Gong. but this is only natural. For the Truth is one and absolute, yet our interpretation of it is what differs and is relative. I believe that we can infinitely approach it and never totally embody it. That is how i would explain all the similarities between the different spiritual disciplines. It is because they all aim towards the same truth and hence they "have to overlap". For example The classical "Sat Nam". Truth is my Identity as is commonly translated. Yet, due to the way i view the original language i choose to understand it as "Truth is the Name". Linking this to Sufism, "The Truth" is one of God/Allah's most important 99 names or "properties", Also shows a striking similarity with the science of mantras when the Sufis rhythmically repeat one of Gods 99 names in a specified way and order to call upon / manifest that property. But is your question about "using" the Kundalini Energy or cultivating it? Sat Nam Sahib Singh
