Guest guest
hi I had been through same experience few months ago and tried to find the reason of it although i dont do any regular kundlani meditation. but now this ringing sensation which always stays with me and incerase or decrease from time to time .. the best i know is that it could be sound current as told by many people engaged in various meditations Rest only god (Akal Purakh ) knows Jatinder Singh robert.tedesco wrote: Hi, I've been doing KY for about a month now, about an hour a day, and I've noticed a gradual increase in the ringing in my ears off and on throughout the day. I'm thinking this is from increased blood flow, but I wanted to find out if anyone else has experienced this same phenomenon. Thanks. Guest guest
Sat Nam, The sound current manifests as a number of different sounds...and very often what people think is tinnitus (ringing in the ears) is just the sound current. At the most base level, one hears it as the heart beat...then things like waterfalls and bells are very common...and then high pitched sounds and the list goes on from there. You have to begin by listening with as much attention as you can to the sound you are hearing and then as your consciousness shifts you'll discover another more subtle sound behind the first sound...and then listen with more intensity and you'll find an even subtler sound behind the last one and you continue like that in your practice until you are listening to 100% love energy/God! But this process unfolds over time and with changes in your consciousness.................. so it may take some time to ever experience a shift in one of the sounds or it may be quick? You have to try it and see to really know. If you are experiencing the sound current, then try meditating on it....listen to it with your right ear or if you hear it in the crown of the head, listen to it there....listening to it with the left ear draws you further away from your center...the right ear brings you deeper and deeper into yourself and ultimate reality. The sound current is like the "hotline to heaven" as my teacher puts it. It will take you all the way home. All Light, Sat Sangeet Kaur (Canada) Post your free ad now! Guest guest
Thanks for the detailed explanation! If I intently listen to it I can hear the pulse behind it. Rob

They will reflect in your consciousness the many dimensions of being that yoga and meditation activate. In the sikh meditation these "sounds of the spheres" are known as Naam. In the Surat Shabad practices of Sants, they close the ears with the thumbs to "listen" to the beautiful "celestial harmonies". It is the highest meditation that is mentioned in the Jap-Ji of Guru Nanak.
raangi
Hi, I'm new here, joining you after a search on the internet about the ringing in the ears topic. Thank all here for the explanation, it confirms what I am feeling from a few years now. In the begining of opening chakras, the ringing had appeared and it was only when meditating, so I could distinguish that every chakra has another sound. As at the begining my chakras were not all time oppened, the ringing was not all time active.Since a few years the ringing never stops and it is truth, they are many sounds at ones that make a big sound. I heare that all time and I was very attentive about this sound not knowing that I better be:) I just was trying to hear what is beyond this sound and as attention incresae, this sound is an elaborate music like sound. As energy is going up the spine, sounds multiply and become louder. After that it comes a point where no sound is anymore...but at that poin I am also not there in the same form I am used with myself, it is something much bigger and I care no more about the sound being or not being there. So I was allways convinced that is has to do with my meditation practice (Zen) but the sound is so loud that sometimes I become unsure a bit thinking that maybe at some point the pressure in the head and the sound will announce some illness... Well, I am happy about what I found here! I just wonder whay it becomes louder with the time and I have just one explanation- I experience opening of chakras more than once so I concluded it must be different levels. After ebery opening like this I experience only one big chakra and after some time passing like this (one year maybe) chakras begin another work. Every time is different and ringing in the ears more pronounced. Now I have a lot actibity at the root and head chakras and the ringing is really loud. But I sense that has to do mostly with the 6 chakra, acctually I am convinced. Thanks again and sorry for eventuals mistakes in writing! JaiGopal
My teacher Harijiwan spoke of a woman who came to him with this problem. He told us that it was the kundalini coming up. He gave her a meditation to do to balance the flow of the rising energy. He didn't say what the meditation was, but being a teacher myself I know that if you do any kundalini yoga kriya (preferrably in the presence of a certified instructor) it will help balance and conduct the flow of this energy you're experiencing. I suggest you find a good kundalini teacher close to home and see if a few classes help. Hope that helps~! When the teacher is not awakened self how he could guide you on the path??? Practicing simply some yoga posture won't get you high. You need the real Guru who has awakened Kundalini himself. When you are with such a person, you may feel very secured, pious and anything but good. If awakening of Kundalini is a piece of a cake then the world would have been a better place with the best humans ever. And no such enlightened perosns would make their visit to the earth time to time. Just don't fool around in the streets. If you are really interested in awakening of the Kundalini, then keep on practicing Surya Namaskara and Vastrika Pranayam regularly. But it doesn't mean that after the activation of Muladhara, you can manage the force upward,... it's a mystery and tell you honestly that Iv'e met people with Muladhara Chakra activation, gone to the zero not knowing the further steps. Still, anyone with strong determination can activate upto the swadhisthan. To keep it up every person needs a self-awakened Guru. Just don't fool yourself. regards
passionate_freak
I agree the guest on this matter. Kundalini is not that much cheap. I bet and ready to cut my head if those so called certified Yoga or Kundalini instructor could help anyone activating the Kundalini. It's not the chocolate sold in market in few bucks.
