Guest guest
My name is Liz, and I am new to this community. I have taken Yoga before, but have not stuck with it. Recently, I have gone back to school to become a singer, and I have been told that kundalini has excellent breathing exercises. I look forward to reading everyone's posts. Guest guest
Welcome Liz, to the list, You are in the right place and it is not by accident (that will become apparent ) The Human Body is the first Temple. Temples being where groups of people go to make Joyful Noises...together, and to experience UNION with CREATION, but it was our own bodies that gave us the first experience of the DIVINE. The ceilings of our temples are even shaped like the roof of the mouth! That said, when the distance between our Body and our Mind is very small to non-existent (aka YOGA), our very beings make a beautiful sound, and others can feel elevated and moved by this sound, our voice. There are specific kriyas that will richen your voice after a short time (10 minutes), or at least that's been my experience, but the whole of Kundalini Yoga will have that effect. But it's really just a by-product of a sincere practice, and not the goal. More Later, Dharam Singh Millis, MA P.S.
