Guest guest
Sat Nam, dear Marina, I had a student with similar severe lower back problems - pinched sciatic nerve and slipped disks. He could barely walk (used sometimes a stick) and after a journey of visits to various doctors, acupuncturist, chiropractors and physical therapists, we started working together. He did daily the Rishikesh Set (for opening the hip and adjusting the lower back) and after that a spinal flex set. So every morning exercises for about 30 to 45 minutes helped him coming 'back to life' and after 6 month we went for salsa dancing ;-) Check out the archives of yogatech - there are the instructions. Good exercises are: - life nerve stretch - spinal flex - spinal twists - side bends - sufi circles - butterfly It is good to see a teacher in order to adjust the exercises to your abilities. If you commit yourself and stick to the exercises - expect miracles..... Sending blessings and light from Shanghai, Adarsh S.
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Jurgen. Can you describe the Rishikesh set? You mentioned this set as a remedy for low back issues. Thank you, Joan
