Guest guest
Sat Nam Siri Chand, Arnica ointment is one of the best things that I have used, I love it so much that everyone in my family gets some in their stocking...(: It has no smell...what works really well is to use a hot washcloth on the area & then after rub the ointment in...I've also purchased the herb & made a compress & that feels really good too...it also works really well on bruises, it works by bringing blood flow to the area so you never want to use it on an open wound. Tiger balm works also but sometimes I prefer not to feel the heat...(that's what's nice about arnica, it just goes in & has you feeling better)...personally I think it works better than tiger balm, but you may want to try different things to see which works best for you.. also you can try putting rosemary essential oil on the area, I had a back injury that this worked wonders on.... and you can take evening primrose capsules which is a natural anti inflammatory. these can be purchased at any healthfood store. Are you familiar with Golden milk? That is a tasty treat that I enjoy drinking in the evening before bed & that will also help, if you've never had it let me know & I'll send you the recipe on how to make it...its a yogi's & yogini's favorite (: Have fun playing around with these different suggestions...(: What is the meaning of your spiritual name? with many blessings of healing, Jiwan Shakti --- Robert D Ashton <treezilla wrote: > > > Sat Nam! > I've been practising for over 25 years and I still > feel pretty tight > in the ambrosial hours. Guest guest
Sat Nam Siri Chand Singh! A mixture of juniper berry, rosemary, lavender, and grapefruit in a little base oil is wonderful for soreness and tight muscles. Golden Milk is the best for stretching tight ligaments. You will experience a huge difference drinking it before practice. I have developed a product called "Yoga Rub" that has over 30 essential oils in it and my students love to use it before practice or if they are nursing an injury. Let me know if you want more information. Blessings in Health! Guru Ravi Kaur
