Guest guest
Sat Naam! (what does this mean? Naam is Name, perhaps? What's Sat?) I am new to the website, but it is excellent! I am in a "handicapped" body due to a car accident year ago where my neck was broken. As a result, I now have 2 metal rods in the neck & back, however count the manifdold blessings b/c of the ability to walk & move freely. Due to the 2 metal rods in the neck/back, doing difficult poses can't be done (at least not immeaditely) by this body. Sitting in a straight back chair can be done easily, though. Since I'm "new" to KY, does anyone know of any KY poses (easy pose is 1, any others?) that are simple to do that provide Good results? Sitting on the ground with legs crossed "Indian style" is too difficult as well. Help in & of the Light is appreciated. Mikael
Guest guest
Hello Michael, My teacher always teaches about intent, and that energy does follow thought - Allow the Divine to work through you. When you are faced with overly challenging physical positions, watch your teacher go through the motions, and you do the same in your heart/mind. One of my favorite sayings: What ever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve. Love, Bhagavati Michael <mycall888 wrote: Sat Naam! (what does this mean? Naam is Name, perhaps?
