Sat Naam! (what does this mean? Naam is Name, perhaps? What's Sat?) I am new

to the website, but it is excellent! I am in a "handicapped body due to a car

accident year ago where my neck was broken.

Sat Nam!

Rhymes with But Mom! It is translated as "I am Truth!Truth is my

Identity!" It is a seed mantra and chanting it awakens the soul. Chanting long

Sat Nams

is very healing and may be a great thing for you to try. I am sorry to hear

about your accident but I am happy to know you are on the road to recovery and

have been lead to this wonderful group!

I tell my students if their bodies can't do a pose or kriya physically then

do it mentally. Visualizing yourself doing the kriya, use the breath, energy,

whatever you can pull in that makes it a "real" experience. You will still

obtain the benefits, our minds are powerful tools and with the practice of KY

you

will open up to many new possibilities. Can you lift your arms? Most of the

Kriyas can be modified and you can sit on a chair. The use of Mantra alone is a

poweful healing tool. Chanting Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung surrounding

yourself, your cervical spine with green healing light is so POWERFUL. Use the

same

mantra chanting 11 times in an ascending scale while holding a glass of water at

your navel center creates healing water for you to drink. I have known many

cases where both of these methods have created miraculous healings. ALWAYS tune

in with Ong Nam Guru Dev Namo, "I call upon Divine Wisdom" It is a mantra

that tunes you in to the Golden Chain and links you to that chain, it tunes you

into your higher self. It is used for protection as you practice and you should

NOT practice without it! The long version of Adi Mantra is a great way to

expereince for yourself how important it is to "tune in." Dharamji has a great

sound clip of it and he might be persuaded to send it to you. ;) Blessings for

your health and happiness.
