Sat Nam Sue! I wouldn't say irregular excercise is harmful, but the body is not as adept at taking care of the free radical effects. Therefore some recommend antioxidants when you work out irregularly. Kundalini Yoga is not about free radicals or working out with a personal trainer; it is a technology for awakening your soul. It works on the subtle bodies and the endocrine system. Almost all Yogis will say 2 minutes of yoga a day is more beneficial than 2 hours once a week. 2 hours once a week is not harmful or "bad" it's just not as productive to the practice. KY is not practiced as exercise, it is for Sai Bhang-self illumination. Strong bodies, increased oxygen levels, are a byproduct! Ang Sang Wahe Guru!
