Guest guest
Sat Nam, Sadhana K. Oh, can I relate to your student. I too, have felt like I don't belong here. Truly, there are days I am glad I'm alive and here and there have been times I wish I wasn't. I have felt the alienation, but I am learning to deal with it. The more I learn about myself, the stronger I become. I do not want to believe that I chose to come here, however, the reality is that I did. I remember being a child (around 5 yrs old) growing up in chaos and thinking that I don't belong here. I cannot cope and I am falling apart. I had to stop and remember/remind myself (and still remember my remembering) that I came from the "Kingdom of Heaven". This was how I got grounded and could press on. This is truly astounding because we were raised with no belief in God. I try to remember my incarnation and I know that many teachings say we volunteered so our souls could learn and grow. However, I think I had to be coached into coming and I only did it for the love of God and/or perhaps because it was God's will. There are many other things I could say, but I'm not sure what is appropriate here in the E-mails and what isn't. I'm sure whatever feedback you get for your student will probably help me also. Thank you, Brenda
