Guest guest
Sat Nam: I would like to thank all of you that have replied to my concerns about transitioning and my confusion about being able to experience a state of consciousness during meditation, however, not being able to embody that consciousness in the everyday world. A special thanks to you, Sat Sangeet Kaur, as you have communicated to me in a way that I can digest the information and it provided a clearing for me. I'll have to work on intention like you mentioned. Guru Ravi: Thanks for the reminder to not get "caught up" in my experiences and the clearing process. The type of meditation group that I was referring to was a guided meditation via voice at times and music given by a psychologist. We also did some charka work. There was some hands on, because of the belief that the trauma people experience is imprinted in the body and needs released. This was approximately 14 years ago and was in what I would call my early stages of recovery from growing up in a dysfunctional family and becoming conscious that I chose men that were abusive or addicts to be my partner and acknowledging that I needed to make healthier choices. Unfortunately, the nearest KY group is three hours away. That just is not practical with a full time work schedule.
