Guest guest
Hi and Sat Nam, Judy, Joan, Joanne, Lori, Jon and others, Just wanted to check in with us souls that made a commitment to do the 40 day meditations for prosperity and breaking habits. I had to check my calendar and I believe we are half way there. Wahe Guru! What have your experiences or challenges been? I'm just glad I made the commitment. This might be the first time that I'll succeed with a 40 day meditation. Joined KY in March '05. I practice Sadhana in the evenings, so there have been a few times I could have easily talked myself out of it because of fatigue, but I kept my commitment and proceeded to do Gan Patee and the Prosperity Meditation anyways. Sometimes, I'll add a little x-tra, for example, Sat Nam and holding my hands over my heart or a brief releasing posture or chant. Still keeping up! Love, Brenda
Guest guest
Hello and Sat Nam, Brenda, Joan, Joanne, Lori, Jon & everyone else!! I am also keeping good on my commitment to meditate for 40 days, and am currently on day 22 of the Kirtan Kriya (Sa Ta Na Ma). wow! one day i did my 31 minutes outside on the porch where i used to smoke (i am using this meditation to try and finalize my attempts to quit smoking) so that seemed kind of special & appropriate! also, my 4.5 year old daughter overhears me chanting the Sa Ta Na Ma mantra just about everyday, and i have heard her incorperating it into her play like a song. haha! i hope that everyone else is doing well! - judy Discover Have fun online with music videos, cool games, IM and more. Guest guest
Sat Nam, all, Although I did not keep up with the prosperity meditation, today is day 40 of my 11 minute Sat Kriya sadhana. I'm also on day 105 of Sodarshan Chakra Kriya. Both have been quite powerful -- the Sodarshan Chakra kriya really blew my mind. I'm going to do that for 1000 days. I received some advice from Dyal Singh that there were three 11 minute meditations that Yogi Bhajan said should be done every day as a sadhana -- Sat Kriya, 11 minutes rest, a meditation like kirtan kriya but with touching fingers of opposing hands together instead of fingers to thumbs with "Sa Ta Na Ma," and Sodarshan Chakra kriya. This has been a great practice for me every morning. I can do yoga much more easily in the morning than at night -- I just have more energy for it. I will recommit to the prosperity meditation, though, because these feelings of poverty are really in the way of my spiritual progress. Guest guest
Sat nam all of you commited people!! Yes , I've been keeping it up , and missed only 2 days.. (felt a bit guilty , but not that bad..) I've been doing Kirtan Kriya (Sa Ta Na Ma) also in my day 22, and been feeling really good.... Must say that I did feel Kundalini raising through my spine quite strongly a couple of times.. In my experience I do feel quite centered , energetic, peaceful and happy. No strong or esoteric experiences but a general state of balance and happines. The fact of having kept with it , being a very indisciplined person , gives me a strong satisfaction with myself. Keep it up all of you... Love and blessings Sat Nam karma
Guest guest
Sat Nam fellow commitors! I thank you so much for opening the door to making a commitment for 40 day meditation. I am still doing 11 minutes of prosperity meditation. Some nights my monkey mind thinks there is not enough time or I am too tired, but you have taught me to keep up and I am. The results are up to God. Be in Love, Joan
