Guest guest
You should listen to Gururattan's advice and also seek direct instruction from a Kundalini Yoga teacher. I just wanted to add, from my own experience, that the fear associated with the kundalini ascension into the head stems from a concern that it will only get louder or more intense. However, it is cyclical, driven by the divine intelligence of Kundalini Shakti, and is doing the work of clearing your bodymind to hold higher and higher vibrational energies. It will subside of its own accord, if you relax and let it move. You should, indeed, learn to ground and dissipate the energy, but it is as important (in my opinion) to learn to trust its movements. Rather than resisting or holding your head when the kundalini is "working high," try to breathe and pulse or flex the associated muscles without changing your posture, so that the Kundalini energy can get to the deepest roots of the associated confusion. I hope this helps you! Sat Nam Be joy-full today! Peat Burkindine repeat2341 Please visit http://whyvegan.com "Why be unhappy about something if it can be remedied? Guest guest
Sat Nam! Working with powerful Kundalini techniques and pranayam without a teacher is never advised. The Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan incorporates grounding and attention into each kriya. The kriyas are to be performed in exact sequences for a prescribed amount of time for a very precise result. Blocks are removed as you go along, the nadis are cleared, the glandular and nervous systems are strengthened so the rising Kundalini Shakti can be incorporated. The upper and lower chakras are stimulated and incorporated. As Yogiji reminds us; this is the life force of an atom and not to be "played with!" Listen to Gururattan and ground anyway you can. In my past experiences I have only to think about the experience of Shakti and I was in the midst of a deep experience of flow. Choose a mantra, if one hasn't been given to you, and begin using mantra recitation as your practice for now. Mantra may translate as protection. Don't use strong pranayam now. Walking, connecting to the earth, massaging the spinal column(and sushumna) and feet with warmed sesame oil and sending yourself lots of love may help. Fear is released through the practice of Yoga and more strongly so in Kundalini stirrings. It is important not to analyze your experiences or you may analyze the grace out of any blessing you are receiving. Be careful about what you eat, and make sure you are eating, don't isolate yourself even though you may feel a strong desire to do so. It is normal with an awakening to lose all interest in the outside world but it is so important to begin to ground this energy and integrate. Bring it back down, bring yourself back down! Chanting the long Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo 5 times on 1 breath helps to integrate the experience. There is a clip from Dharam and some information on this mantra and meditation if you need it. You are being held in our thoughts, Guru Ravi Kaur
