Guest guest
Hello And thank you in advanced for reading this post. several years ago before reading anything on kundalini yoga i was laying dazily on the couche and saw a white ball which i gently fallowed with my mind back and forth,at one point it suddenly acquired a gravity in which my body suddenly jolted and a paralysis came over me this white ball was swirling if what i recall is clockwise and pulling me torwards it as it intensified its pull a sound pitch that accompanied it got higher and higher and then balls of "pressure" the size of golf balls manifested at the base of the back of my neck and traveled up my brainstem to the back base of my skull and dissipated, this sensation was so intense i felt my brain was in physical danger and struggled to regain my physical control and ward off this unknown expereince,I gained physical controll between intervals of this things pull which i managed to open my eyes, then wiggle a finger and then it eventually broke and i was free.years later i feel this might be a kundalini awakening and i have become more studied in general occult philosophy but i was interested from someone who's experienced in this field can shed some light on my experience and how if it is good to recreat this expereince? Guest guest
Dear Setiamon: Where are you from? My recommendation is to not try to recreate anything. Move forward. What needs to come to you will come to you. To be prepared and to have something to offer others practice kundalini yoga daily. When you try to create something it might come to you when you are not ready, it might come in a forceful way, you may lose control altogether. I met someone whose nervous system was a wreck. It had become overly sensitive so he could not look at me in the eyes without feeling jolts of energy going through him that were uncomfortable. I have an intensity in my eyes that people recognize. It has to do with how present I am to the person I am with. I integrate the moment from all my senses at once. It has become very natural to me and I don't feel how intense my look can be. But to him it was too much. He spoke to me avoiding my eyes and he listened to me without looking at me. He told me how he came to make his nervous system so weak. When he was still in good shape, he had envisioned that he could at will remember any part of his past with full details as though he had just lived it. He willed this to come to him and one night he woke up and he met his wish. He could recall any moment he put his mind to and relive it with all the details. He select one, then another and then a 3rd one. After that one he felt exhausted and fell asleep. When he woke up he felt like the shadow of himself. His nervous system could not handle much of anything. He found a doctor of natural medicines tohelp him and his doctor asked him not to do kundalini yoga and that was a mistake due to his misunderstanding of kundalini yoga. So you see... pray for balance, pray for enlightenment and peace... but avoid specific personal desires that have to do with kundalini awakening... it is too powerful to mess with. A regular practice of Kundalini yoga will support your path safely and effectively (perhaps the fastest path you can find around) with a balanced system each and every class. Guest guest
Thanks for responing to my post and sorry for not relizing it earlier,I have way to many ... I'v let things cool off for about a year or two and now i'm going back into dayly training.just with fundamental excercises like observing my thoughts or vacancy of mind each i can momentary bring to a "river" of sorts.Sorry i am not formerly involved with KY or any yoga but evolved my own system from a early age,Its only recently that i been studying various paths etc. I can understand how that ability would exhaust your friend i find that sometimes "memories" with raise up out of the depths and play threw my body like it was a guitar and then radiate outward giving a nice "released" but exhausted feeling.Infact i have experienced a number of things phyisically from fears to music its strange to discribe these things you know?
