Sat Nam Dharam,

I noted with interest your description of the complete Adi

Mantra - and wondered if I am mistaken about my practice. You wrote

that the complete Adi Mantra was to be used as a link only when one

was going to teach. I have been doing sadhana alone and regularly

tune in with Adi Mantra. Would you please clarify what you meant by

using it only if you are going to teach?

I also wondered what going to /getting to Shakti Pad means. I am

not familiar with the expression in kundalini yoga.

I can only dream about the possiblity of teaching someday. The

upcoming course in Texas sounds wonderful. For the moment, it would

be nice to find a class near Spokane, WA. Does anyone have any

information?

I hope you are having a good summer. Sending blessings and love.

Sat Nam.

Sat Nam Abinashi,

(just in from work)

There is a difference between the "Adi Mantra" and the "Complete Adi

Mantra". Read closely....(maybe it could bare some rewriting).

We use the Adi Mantra, "Ong Namo, Guru Dev Namo" for tuning in before

practice or teaching. We can use the Complete Adi Mantra, "Ong Namo,

Guru Dev Namo, Guru Dev Namo, Guru Devaaaa" for individual meditation.

(the Reader's Digest version)

This is covered pretty well in Teacher's Training.

Shakti Pad is that point in a student's spiritual growth process where

the student begins to think they know all there is to know and the risk

for leaning on one's own limited ego rather than staying true to the

teacher/Guru or one's own Soul. If a student makes it through this "mine

field", then there is Sahej Pad ("easy flow") and Sat Pad, where one

does his/her sadhana out of gratitude.

The goal of life is to stay in perfect flow and contact with the

perception of the soul at each moment. Imbalance comes when we forget

the reality of God and Guru in our soul.

Hey dear, it may be that it is you who is to be the teacher for Spokane!!

In the mean time, Portland and Eugene might have to do for some nearby

inspiration and community.
