Dear Siri Ram,

My experience of the radiant body is that it is a consolidating extention of

the aura. It is the more substantive golden light that surrounds the aura

and gives us a feeling of solid presence and protection.

Aura sets can be used to cultivate the radiant body and there are some of

these sets in all of my manuals. The more active, energizing sets that move

a lot create an activation of the radiant body. Archer pose is very good.

However, the most important thing is your awareness. The radiant body is

consolidated through feeling awareness and through listening. Listening

moves into sensory awareness that can attune to the more substantive energy

of the radiant body.

This will all seem rather vague or just a good idea until you actually sit

quietly after each vigorous exercise and listen and then feel the energetic

perceptions at the outer edge of your aura. Do this for several days and

you will experience what I am talking about.

I invite you all to try this and let us know how you attuned and strenghened

your radiance.

Sat Nam,

TO MASTER THE TENTH (RADIANT) BODY:

In order to work on and strengthen your RADIANT BODY you can do any or

all of the following yogic techniques:

1. Recite the "poem" Jaap Sahib by Guru Gobind Singh every day.

2. Do the "Guru Gobind Singh Shakti Mantra Meditation", on page 101 of

the manual, KUNDALINI YOGA SADHANA GUIDELINES.

3. Do Archer Pose. Stand with feet wide apart and turn body to face left

without moving feet at all. Now raise arms and extend left arm forwards

parallel to the ground in a fist with thumb on top (as if holding a bow)

and place the right fist close to the right ear (bending the elbow and

keeping the bent arm level) as if holding the bowstring. Tense all

muscles and breathe DEEPLY from the navel. Reverse posture and repeat.

Do this for 11 minutes on each side (left and right) every day.

4. Do "Varuyas Kriya", which appears on page 67 of the manual KUNDALINI

YOGA SADHANA GUIDELINES.

5. Keep your hair long and uncut.

All Yoga manuals can be obtained from Yogatech at 1-866-YOGATECH

(1-866-964-2832) or on the Web at

You can find sets for the Radiant Body in Nirvair Singh Kahlsa's "The

Ten Light Bodies of Consciousness".

I really needed to hear your words on the Radiant Body (Tenth

Body). Being a big ole Kinesthetic type, my own words while in the

middle of direct experience may come across as jibberish to some.

Your words on listening and feeling awareness are right on target,

and the importance of establishing our Aura (7th Body) is major. I am

also noting that with "the more active, energizing sets" the Pranic Body

(8th Body) gets awakened and with a good layout afterward the Ninth Body

is also getting aligned. The point I am making is that there seems to be

a flow and progression from body to body, which makes me

wonder.........................

Dear all:

I just read in Breathwalk (Gurucharan and Yogi Bhajan) that regular walks

with rythmic breaths also activates radiance in the practitioner.

Dharam Singh:

I don't think of it as a progression from body to body in numerical order.

The bodies are intrically connected in a way that your birth date brings

them together. They form a family each one with a certain role. So when

you work on your aura, you are bound to affect all the other bodies your

aura interacts with. The same way that if a member of a family becomes

more loving, or more confident, or more lazy, it affects the whole family.
