Greetings all,

I am hoping for some expert advice regarding a client who has been

diagnosed with spinal stenosis, "a narrowing of spaces in the spine that

results in pressure on the spinal cord and/or nerve roots" As a result,

this 73 year old man has severe pain in his lower legs, along the

sciatic nerve.

I am planning on giving him sets that emphasize spinal flexes, life

nerve stretches, twists, and maybe some navel chakra work, perhaps some

stretch pose? I was planning to use the sun salutations to warm him up

-- he can do the triangle pose and has good upper body strength. Would

anybody care to comment on the advisability of certain sets? Are there

some dietary recommendations?

Thanks for your input,

Love and Light,

Sat Nam,

This is non KY advise. The best external healing I have found for

compressed spine is an alignment called Alphabiotics,. You can look this up

on the Internet and see if there are any practitioners near you. They pull

on the neck and spine to decompress the spine.

Sat Nam Avneesh,

Has your client tried acupuncture? My 84 year old mother has spinal

stenosis and has found great relief with monthly acupuncture

treatments.
