Romance, Lust - The perils of enchantment

Dharam has addressed the issue of romance and

sexuality

several times in past posts.

Personally, I see it as there are two things going go,

the physical, biological urge installed in our

hardware in order to

reproduce. When your practice in Kundalini becomes

strong, this can be turned into creative energy, sort

of a

lust for life, that sustains you much longer than a

roll in the hay. Cause once the roll in the hay is

over, you

are not usally sated...something ultimately is

missing,

especially for women.

The romance part is the mind. We feel empty,

incomplete,

and want another being to uplift us. The feeling is

delightful, though not real, it lives in the land of

illusion,

for down the road, you find another being cannot make

you feel complete. Who said your soulmate is you?

Well,

they are right. Once you fall in love with yourself,

you

really don't need the trappings of romance to feel, oh

so

in love with life. You love yourself and everything

around

you. A breeze on your cheek is romance. Brushing you

hair is a pleasure. You are no longer grasping for

temporary solutions to complete you, you are complete.

If

someone happens to enter your life at this point, it

is

more of a enhancement to your life, not a fill in.

I find working the third chakra, for self-identity, is

the

first step, lots of navel work and Har's for that

empowerment.

Of course when you fall in love with yourself, you are

falling in love with God, and that is the source we

need to connect to, yes?
