Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, I just love reading the emails on this list - there is so much experience and wisdom to be gained. I really do feel like I've come to know many of you through your thoughtful responses and insights. I have been unable to find a teacher in the Spokane, WA area, so I do depend on this list for direction and feedback. I was struck by Sat Sangeet Kaur's response regarding addictive behaviors and coming to know your true self. When she mentioned the meaning of her spiritual name, "princess of true divine music" - I was filled with jealousy. I was told that my spiritual name, Abinashi Kaur, means "the indestructible Princess." From the moment I heard it, it filled me with dread. It might as well have been "mighty warrior" or "foot soldier" - it sounded like I would be fighting one sort of battle or another my entire life. (which isn't far from what's been happening at various points:) ) In any event, I wondered if any of you have any other ideas on what this name could mean - besides perpetual struggles. I would like to have a positive take on this title - but it has evaded me. Sat Nam. Abinashi Kaur
Guest guest
Dear Abinashi, Personally I am jealous of your name. I love the sound of it. I see it as a woman of power, indestructible, invincible, strength to see others through their obstacles, Princess of Power! Linda, (Have chosen to be spiritual nameless, after all what is in a name?) When she mentioned the > meaning of her spiritual name, "princess of true > divine music" - I > was filled with jealousy.
