The ONLY safe way to awaken Kundalini is to do the work! The kriyas (exercises) mantras (meditations and chanting) are the way to do it as it was intended to be done! The Kundalini energy is within us all; it is our birthright to access this energy and to utilize it for health, healing, wellness and prosperity, in the right ways. There are methods out there, even energetic healing modalities that claim to use Kundalini energy without going through the proper channels and I would advise you to stay far away from them. Guest guest
I would be very careful not to use a balanced system. I have heard of people awakening their kundalini with only meditation but they end up feeling overwhelemd easily. Their nervous system took a shot too powerful for what it could take. There are many methods but they are not all safe. So when you say: without mantra and with physical activity, there's a red flag right there, it cannot be balanced. Best wishes! Guest guest
Humor, Humility and Truth are the real powers. Live in alignment with aspects of life and Kundalini will rise on it's own. Sat Nam, Dharam P.S. You will have to breathe, however. mrrfle wrote: > Can anyone please tell me as many methods as possible of awakening > kundalini without using mantras or physical activity. Guest guest
I agree with Dharam. You can add being of service (Karma Yoga or humanitarian service), that's a powerful path. But you still have to breathe and breathing is a mantra if you do it consciously... And being of service is physical. There is no way around it! Guest guest
Sat Nam, Most of us would like a short cut to enlightenment. We would like an easy, quick route. If there was one, I would certainly be for it, and I would be teaching it to all of you. I started practing Hatha yoga daily in 1969 and KY in 1976. Yes, daily with a few days off for sick leave. But no "excuse, I don't feel like it" days. I can only speak from personal experience, but enlightenment and raising the Kundalinli is not a course of limited duration. Living a conscious life is an on-going evolutionary path. It is a choice to do what it takes to live consciously every moment. And for this we must shift the way we operate at a very fundamental level -- KY helps us make this paradigm shift. Dharam mentions -- "Humor, Humility and Truth are the real powers". Yes, but how do we get to the point we are living in this truth? One path that helps us get there is KY. Our internal wiring has to change to live in this consciousness. But practicing KY is only half of the story. We have to choose how we react and respond. We have to use the openings in consciousness to act from our heart. We have to practice. Otherwise our heart will close again. How many of us feel all loving after a KY session and then lose the connection soon afterwards? Make your goal to raise your kundalini so that you can live a heart-centered life. So that your awareness systematically computes higher love. (1) Practice KY to make this possible. (2) Notice the openings in your awareness that shift your preceptions. (3) And then practice living like this as long as you truly feel connected to your heart. (4) When you have to fake it, it is time for more KY, meditation and service. (5) Keep going. The evolution that you are involved in is not only your own. We are participating in the evolution of the planet. When our caring bubbles from a consciousness that actually experiences that we are all one and kindness is not a ritual but the way we are, then we have raised our kundalini. Until then we will continue to witness the "crimes of the heart" (actually crimes of no heart) that we witness in Atlanta and around the world. We have to authentically care and live the truth of oneness. Sat Nam, Gururattana
