Guest guest
Dharam, I have been looking at the numerology link you sent, but honestly, until you provided some "illumination," I just wasn't getting it. Sometimes, I need somebody to just give it to me plain. This helped so much. Bringing the abstract down to the gut level is something I really need right now. I am trying to "earth" my practice, and here is what I have found: Sometimes, we all forget that our Kundalini yoga practice doesn't have to be just in "formal" practice. This weekend, I went camping with my husband, and snuck in a full set from one of Gururattan's books, and spontaneous chanting and meditation out in the woods, on the back of my bicycle, and yep, sitting in front of our fire eating really big soft white marshmallows and drinking a beer. Yum in so many ways!!! This yoga makes me alive, grounded in my body, yet in touch with so much else. I just have to DO IT everyday, in some way. Even if it is only chanting sa na ma ta while washing the dishes. Kundalini Yoga makes me remember who I am. The back pain is gone, and I have continued to practice daily, and walk, and drink water. I just sometimes have to talk to myself about what constitutes a "practice" each day. > P.S. Many years ago ('78), I had just finishing a very rich > Bio-energetic Gestalt Therapy session. I mentioned to my therapist that > I was having pain in my lower back and she remarked, "Oh, that's another > year of sessions". > Get it? Oh, so got it. And still getting it.... Will get the material you recommended and do some more in-depth numerology. Thank you for the information! So much to learn, Gurugian
Guest guest
Sat Nam Gurugian Kaur, Thank you for your email. Glad to be of help and also to see someone else moving through some challenges I have known personally. I guess they call that resonance. Kundalini is the energy of spirit. It's the body and mind working in alignment. There is Soul in everything (Beer, soft marshmallows and all). Our "project" is really simply getting used to our inherent spirituality - and it's not reserved only for those in high institutions. It is incredibly earthy and we can have it here, now and all day long no matter where we are and who we're with, as long as we're willing to give up something.
