Sat Nam Ji's!

Through the practice of KY all is transformed! That doesn't mean we live in a

world that is perfect and loving at all times, or we live in a body that is

pain free at all times, or we are spared pain and loss. We have been given the

technology to carry us through and in the process uplift others and pull them

along. When we are stuck in our pain body and negative mind we analyze and

count our miseries and give a bigger voice to the negativity. Gururattana's

lesson # 2 The Art of Silence and Listening and lesson #4 Meditation to Switch

Channels and for Emotional Balance are wonderful ways to begin a practice of

actively listening to ourselves and cultivating silence and listening. When we

actively listen before we talk about something in our life situation we are

given

the chance to process and in turn we can notice..."hey! I'm stuck in my pain

body!" There have been questions lately on the list about where to find

Kundalini Yoga information, books, and particular sets and mantras, and most of

the

answers are in the free lessons provided tirelessly by Guruattana. When we tune

in and practice everyday (it doesn't matter if it's 3 minutes of BOF or Sat

Kriya or 2 1/2 hours of Aquarian Sadhana) the shift and change happens; then

there is nothing to discuss. Something comes up ( and it always will! ;-0 ) do

more yoga. This is not to say never talk or share your feelings, but move away

from dumping, venting, labeling...all imaginings of the egoic mind. The Yoga

will carry you through all. As Nike used to say "just DO it!" ha ha...

Complaining and labeling just keep us stuck, going round and round, hung up on

our

worn out grooves that are not really serving us anymore. They also help keep us

from doing the yoga! and create an acidic state in the body which is

counterproductive to health. As Awtar pointed out our body's healthy state is

slightly

alkaline. 3 minutes of BOF will bring your blood to an alkaline state of

health. My prayers and thoughts are for all to find freedom, happiness, and

peace of

mind and heart!

Ravi, YB said these words and they were wise. But didn't he himself have

pain and weakness? Sometimes healing comes place when you are able to talk

to a person and release the pressure and get advice. Of course the advice

is going to be to just keep up no matter what but what comes easy to some

people, like me, I can let go when I have to and get quiet real easy. This

is a gift I don't even take advantage of and this really is between me and

God and my own selfish nature. Other people they have process where they

just need to heal by expressing the stuff coming up and having a person help

them process it. Elaine

What a wonderful quote. As a refugee from Katrina,

stranded in the middle of Nebraska, you can't imagine
