Guest guest
Sat Nam brothers and sisters, I have just recently joined your group and grateful that I have found it. I have been away from Kundalini for too long. I began my journey with Kundalini in 2001. I had never felt as good as I did then. When I moved to Florida I looked for a teacher in my area. I did find one however at that time my schedule did not permit me to beable to attend. I purchased a video and tried to continue with my practice on my own at home. Sadly it did not last long. I found that without the group atmosphere I seemed to be less likely to be motivated, one of my characater defects I suppose. Onne of the first friendsI made in Florida was a Dolphin triology Reiki Master teacher. She was actually the co founder, so having someone to support me and encourage me I too now are a Master teacher of this wonderful Reiki energy. Although I love the reiki and the energy and healing it brings I do not feel as though it has the same affect on me as Kundalini did. So I am happy to be here and I have down loaded the 1st 5 lessons and I ask that you my brothers and sisters help to encourage me to continue on with Kundalini so that I may be free from myself. I thank you all for being part of this group and look forward to talking to all. Blessings Sat Nam Kim (aka Adonia) Kimberly Amoling Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free. Guest guest
Sat Nam Kim, Welcome to our group! I was in the same space when I found this group 5-6 years ago. This group is a God-send for many of us if a connection/teacher is not near or available. I live in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and at that time a teacher was not available in the state. I had immersed myself in KY while I lived in Boulder, Co in 1980-81 and fell away when I moved back to Wisconsin. With the help of this group and the owners I was able to start teaching about 1 1/2 years ago go/start.cgi/kyteachers.html I created my own network of people to provide the group energy. It is hard without some sort of connection but as Yogi Bhajan says "keep Up". Hopefully you will find a class you can get to at some point. In the mean time feel free to let us provide a connection and support. Yogi Bhajan Quote: " When we feel we are limited, we become limited. When we feel we are unlimited, we become unlimited" Mehtab Singh Brian Sheboygan, Wisconsin bkilton PS- I am in recovery also. I have been clean and sober for 16 years. I use KY as my connection to my "higher Power"
Guest guest
Sat Nam Brian Thank you so very much for your support. It is good for me to know and remeber that I am not the only one, and that in numbers their are great powers. I live in Marco Island Florida which is in the direct path of Hurricane Wilma. We are evacuating tomorrow. I have downloaded KY lessons and will be taking my laptop with me so that I can begin even if it is just for 5 minutes a day. I could easily use the hurricane to procrastinate, but I will not. I love that quote you shared with me about being limited and unlimited. I think I write that on my bathroom mirror. Strange I know but it works for me. I am a visual kind of person. My jope it to be able to teach someday also and you have inspired me already. I think that every community in every area should have access to Kundalina. I am so grateful to have found this group. Blessinga Kim(aka ADONIA) Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs.
