Sat Nam Rashmeet, "Gondolf1" and others,

I hope none of us is waiting for verification from western thought,

western science, western confusion and western doubt before beginning a

yogic practice. The flood of answers and pseudo answers that come at us

is amusing, at best, and disorienting for millions. Here's the thing.

It's 2005. We've supposedly settled the questions about where people

came from, how they evolved, how our Universe originated. We have

computers that can do infinite numbers of calculations in half a second,

and yet people are still wondering whether UFO's exist. I mean has any

of 500 years of science (remember it wasn't that long ago when in Europe

the earth was thought to be flat) or our religions made any more sense

of the unknown or made us any more comfortable with questions we've had

ever since childhood about what happens when our relatives die?! For me,

anyway, Yogic philosophy and Vedic thought does that. It is a fact that

overcoming doubt and opening one's self to the possibilities of the

spiritual life (penis enlargement not included - don't even open those

emails!) is the very first step in our growth. Once doubt is overcome

then the mantra is "Keep up". Go through the "motions" everyday. Call it

Karma Yoga if you like. It takes time to overcome deep-seated inertia

and old patterns, and renew your hormonal and nervous systems. "Course

the Chi, Move the Blood"

And Gondolf1, as to whether Kundalini Yoga has been around long

enough....isn't 5, 10, 20 thousand years long enough? Western Science is

still completely doubtful about . Can you hear my rant!.

I can go on.

In Yogi Bhajan's first response to one of my letters he said "you see

yourself as limited, I see you as unlimited".

Ground your navel and build the good foundation and all else follows.

PeACe!
