Guest guest
Sat Nam Jeanette, Everyone, most everyone that finds their way here has followed that inner guidance to be here. Stay with that. Your first intuition is right on. When I meditate or do a kriya I don't look for an 'experience' or necessarily a result, I have a goal, 40 days, 120 days, 1000 days, whatever. When I'm done or along the way, I occasionally take an interanl inventory...'how do i feel', 'am I calmer?' Part of the goal here with Kundalini yoga and meditation is to take us away from that 'monkey mind' thats always judging, criticizing and analyzing and chattering (see post below). Stop looking for that 'expience' sit back and enjoy the practice and you'll have progress, you'll know it'll be obvious. Have you done Sodarshan for 2 hours? Or One minute Breath for 2 hours? My advice, stay with the intuition, experiment, push yourself some, go beyond.
