Guest guest
To those of you who study nutrition. I have been told by my chiropractor that vitamin B12 is not easily obtained for vegetarians. I have my suspicions because Yogi Bhajan recommends for example to eat kitchedee as a diet. In my understanding it contains every thing we need. ( + drink clean water and yogi tea!) My chiropractor recommends I take cataplexy B12. Does anyone know about this and Would mind explaining where he's coming from? And if his concerned is valid, what is a good source of B12 for vegetarians. Blessings and thanks, Luc
Guest guest
Sat Nam I do know that strict vegetarians need to supplement vitamin B12 which is contained in many meats. Vitamin B12 is essential to the manufacture of hemoglobin by the body. Hemoglobin carries oxygen to the many cells we have within us and is therefore very important. I do not know about the cataplexy type but I have always understood that any good grade of B12 is acceptable. I do not readily recall the amt. but that can easily be looked up.
