Guest guest Posted November 8, 2005 Report Share Posted November 8, 2005 Hi Everyone, I got inspired to make more yogi tea a while ago when we had a bunch of messages here about it, and used up all my spices... so, I would like to ask a couple of questions, before I go charging off to get more <g>. Which kind of cinnamon sticks are best, the soft-stick "Ceylon" cinnamon, or the harder "Korintje" type? When ordering by weight, what would be the ratio of cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, and cardamom pods which would make them last approximately the same time? Does anybody have a good mail-order or internet source for these? (I've been looking at www.penzey's.com, which I have found to be a high-quality outfit for spices in general, but am open to suggestions.) Decisions, decisions. <gg> Any light on these daunting details would be appreciated. <s> Thank you all for being here!
