I know a woman is not meant to do yoga during her period (or am I worng?) But to my dismay my new found energy and determination does not last the 5 day famine of yoga and the cycle of wishing I would do yoga begins again... I'm at the end of my tether....is there yoga that women can do at her monthly time> Or any other suggestions for me? I practice yoga during my moon time, I simply am more careful with navel sets and do not practice breath of fire. I have been taught by Gururattan that this is appropriate and have also read up on this and I listen to my own body. I find that practicing yoga during my moon allows me to have a more cleansing and comfortable cycle.

I would agree with this also, for myself personally I listen to my body & when there are times that I feel I want to do my normal practice, I do & then there are times when I feel the need to just be gentle with myself, & yes that's OK too (: smiles alot depends on where I am at in my cycle enjoy your practice, Sat Nam Jiwan Shakti Tampa FL FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase.
