Guest guest
It is simple. Start with Kundalini Yoga daily, later more daily and after few months negative energy leave your body. Kundalini Yoga produce high frequency in your body. Negative emotions and thought have lesser frequency. High frequency push away lesser frequency. With good and qualificated teacher you can count that problem is over and that is just a question of invested time in Kundalini Yoga and your disciplined work. Or did you ever seen developed Yogi under influence of bad emotions or thouhts? They laugh and have positive emotions and thoughts.
Guest guest
Tectips.. What is your name? I'd love to address you personally. A name says so much about someone. My heart beat resonates with your name so that when I communicate with you, I have a sense of you that I don't have with any body else. It is precious. That's all we have as human beings: how it feels to connect with each other. That's how we share and receive each other's love. Anxiety. I had a student with anxiety. She came hoping that yoga would help her. Yoga helps. But what helped her the most was when we started talking about what anxiety really is made of and what can be done in the moment of an anxiety attack. And when it clicks for you, you will get even more out of yoga. Here's what you do. Next time you feel anxiety, mild or loud as an attack, notice your breathing, notice what triggers it. and notice you have a choice to let the anxiety drive your thoughts, or to let someone wiser in you take charge. That someone wiser, is the one that can notice the attack and be curious about it without thinking it's the end of the world. If you still don't see you have a choice, see that you may have a hope or a goal. For instance, I had anxiety attacks during written exams sometimes when I was in graduate school. So I would notice my breath, notice I had a choice to breathe again. Then I would notice I feared I would not have enough time to do everything on the exam. So I noticed I had a choice to worry about it or to just do one question at a time and let the teacher do the rest. Let go of what I did not have control over. Sometimes I would remember that perhaps none of the other students would be able to finish and we were all in the same boat. My goal was to do as much as I could. I focused on that instead on not being able to do it all. Anxiety is not something imposed on you. It is just a reaction. And as for any reaction, we can breathe through it without taking action until we calm down. Then focus on our goal and choose to go with the goal. There is no way to do both! Guest guest
Hello Tectips, I don't know how self destructive your obsessive thoughts and anxiety have become, but I presume that things have become quite unbearable due to the urgent undertone in your message. You may want to seek out professional help from a psychiatrist, someone who could prescribe medication if necessary. I hope that you find relief. I can certainly empathize. Take care. >"tectips" <tectips >Kundaliniyoga >Kundaliniyoga >Kundalini Yoga obsessive thoughts and anxiety >Sun, 20 Nov 2005 09:55:37 -0000 > >Hi, > i have obsessive thoughts and anxiety for the last 5 years. is there >someone in this group who can guide me through a set protocl or let mw >know how to go ahead with the practice specifically for this? > >can someone please help? > >thanks > > > > > _______________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! Guest guest
Hopefully you will be able to use Kunalini yoga to help you achieve more peace and balance, but aside from this, I have recently discovered an awesome way of opening to understanding our psyche and what is causing certain patterns and feelings. It is called Holotropic Breathwork, and is a very serious and powerful psychiatric tool developed by a couple of psychiatrists in the 70s and 80s to help people enter non-ordinary states of awareness for healing. You can learn more and find a facilitator in your area here: http://www.breathwork.com. This would no doubt help you along with your yoga practice as well.
