Guest guest
Sat Nam Everyone, At the risk of boring all of you with details of my medical history, I want to share with you a recent little miracle I experienced. Six years ago when my twin daughters were born, I developed a serious heart condition that was almost fatal. (cardiomyopathy). The doctors said if my heart was going to regain functioning ability it would happen in the next twelve months. Ever since then, they've said that my heart was slightly enlarged and that it was functioning in a low-normal range. When I went for my annual check-up last week, the doctor came in shaking his head. He asked if I've been doing anything different this year. I said I've been practicing yoga. He smiled and said, Well, you ought to "keep it up." Your heart is completely normal (ejection 60-65) and there are no longer any signs of enlargement. It is as though nothing ever happened. I have no medical background - but I did not think that damaged hearts were able to "get better." I've been very aware of inner healing that has been taking place as a result of yoga....but this outcome was quite unexpected. I was so delighted and pleasantly surprised... that I wanted to tell you all about it. Kundalini yoga is just amazing. Wahe Guru!! Guest guest
Wonderful! This is the kind of anecdotal evidence I love to use in yoga class. Thank you for sharing.
