I just think the drawing is a way to balance the left with right brain activity. Is there a left and right brain imbalance in your life? It could very well be that you feel drawn (see the metaphor) to pay attention to something more right brain in your life. What are your drawings reflecting to you? I remember when I was in grade school my English teacher commented on my paper, he said "this is not art class". I am still trying to figure out why I draw and doodle.
