Guest guest
I've come to this group as a first time novice, although I have felt drawn to yoga most of my adult years. I'm interested in learning as much as I can. I have received the messages from the various postings and admittedly understand very little of it. Teachers in my area are no where to be found so I feel I am on my own. This is a particulary troublesome time in my life and I have turned all my energy inward to find peace. Does anyone have some helpful advice on where I should begin? Thank you.
Guest guest
Sat Nam New Beginner: I have been new for a few months and still don't understand all of it as haven't spend as much time as need to in the very powerful lessons but I find starting with meditation helps a lot before attempting to do anything. This group seems to be very respectful of any questions you may have so ask. No question is a bad one. Don't give up. It is beginning to help me. Guest guest
RadioGirl, Hi...sounds like you are challenged in finding guides or answers. I guess my ideas are nothing new...but..books and tapes. There are some very good books..I would start there. Asking here should help and there are some good websites. Good Luck. radiogirl71 <radiogirl71 wrote: I've come to this group as a first time novice, although I have felt drawn to yoga most of my adult years. I'm interested in learning as much as I can. Since you can't find a teacher close to you i suggest you some books, i think the best way to start being without a phisical guide: - "Yoga for Women" Shakta Kaur Khalsa - "A Woman's Book of Yoga" Hari Kaur Khalsa & Machelle M. Seibel - "Kundalini Yoga" Shakta Kaur Khalsa - "Introduction to Kundalini Yoga" Gururattan Kaur Khalsa - "Relax and Renew" Gururattan Kaur Khalsa - "Sadhana Guidelines" Gurucharan S. Khalsa ....and.........anytime, feel free to ask!!! Greetings from Italy :-) AC Sujan Singh
