Guest guest
Sat nam, Someone asked if she should include Kundalini yoga exercises before her practice and sit in silent meditation at the end of her practice. Sorry, I cannot find the email but I do have a comment. Your practice is beginning to work for you in many ways. One is that you are awakening your inner guidance. You have asked a question, but the fact is that you have already received the answer. One of the main goals of practicing KY is to cultivate awareness. To do so we have to pay attention. We listen. We get messages. We feel how this instruction feels. If it feels right, we follow it. By following this process, your inner guidance not only awakens, it gets strengthened. You reclaim your free will. The more you use your will, the freer you get and the happier you are. So it sounds to me like your inner guidance is telling you that a few excercises (like spinal flexes, warm up series and leg stretches, for example) would enhance your meditations. And then sitting quietly at the end and simply being present to all your awarenesses would give you a chance to integrate and experience new levels of beingness. What do you feel? Many blessings, Gururattana :+)
