Guest guest
Hello, I do yoga every day. Either Kundalini or Hatha depends on my mood.Lately my lower back gets so stiff its unbelieveable plus new sharp various pains parts of my body.I cannot even imagine how bad I would be if I didnt stretch.yes,I have had a history with back pain in the past but in the past the yoga always helped to the point of no pain.Could this pain be from the 1.15 hr navel center Dvd I do mulitiple times per week plus other ky sets.Thanks.Pgw. Guest guest
If the muscles of the lower back are still week, and you are over strengthening the muscles of the abdomen--you could be putting more stress on the weaker back muscles. Salambasana (Locust) and other back extension excercises i.e.) Bhujangasana and Dhanurasana can strengthen the muscles of the back. Flexion of the spine--or forward bends can lengthen and release tension in the back. Try to hold the postures for a considerable amount of time for full effects. Let your SoulShine.
