Sat Nam Danette,

I placed the post about my silver cord and wanted to let you

know that I appreciate your expression of relating to the "energy" that

sustained you for 34 years. I believe there is more to us than meets

the eye; yes, we are more than our body and mind.

I wish you the best with your kundalini experiences and

finding a qualified teacher. You said that maybe some day you will be

able to contribute. I think that you have contributed. You professed

your belief in God. That is a strong contribution. You are a part of

the whole, therefore, you contribute.

You asked what Sat Nam means. Sat Nam is a basic mantra and

it means Truth is my (your/our) Identity. Truth is God's name. It is

an invocation of our Divine Consciousness.

I have been practicing this mantra, i.e. Sat Nam x6 and Wahe

Guru, the Happiness Mudra Mantra on and off for a while now and started

a 40 day sadhana on 1/4/06 with this one and the Sodashan Chakra Kriya.

Recently, I became speechless during the Sat Nam, Happiness Mudra; I was

unable to verbalize any further. I reached a moment of

surrender/ecstasy.

Since you said you were interested in reading and learning,

I would like to recommend Guru Rattana, Ph.D, New Millennium Being #107

- Hold a Space for your Truth. It is very helpful and she wrote a

beautiful poem that touches my soul. The New Millennium Being is

copyright 1999 - 2005 Guru Rattana, Ph.D. and I believe you can access a

formatted version at nmb/backissues/nmb107.html

..

Blessings to you on your journey,

Brenda

experience!

Thanks again
