Sat Nam all,

I have a recipe for Trinity Rice, but I think it's missing the spices

in the listing of ingredients... does anyone know this recipe?

2 Onions

2 cloves garlic

1 inch giner root

1 cup basmati rice

1/2 - 3/4 cup ghee

1 tomato

4-5 cups assorted vegetables

The instructions say to rince rice throughly then saute the spices in

ghee until golden brown. Add onion, garlic and ginger....

What are the spices that need to be sauteed?

thanks,

Thanks Jiwan Shakti,

For those interested here are the rest of the instructions on how to

cook this recipe. Apparently it's cleansing for the blood and also

very delicious:

2 onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced,

1 inch ginger root, peeled & grated

1 cup basmati rice

1/2 - 3/4 cup ghee

1 tomato, peeled

4-5 cups assorted vegetables

Rince rice throughly. Saute the spices in ghee until golden brown.

Add onion, garlic and ginger. Stir slowly until onions begin falling

apart. Then add tomato; vegetables and rice, along with 4 cups of

water. Cover and let simmer on low heat, checking often. Add water

as necessary. Cook until vegetables are soft and rice is done. Makes

4 servings.

Happy eating!

Sat Nam,
