Guest guest
I wanted to say something about this topic. We're each born with various qualities and abilities. Most of these qualities come naturally as our vibration (Kundalini) rises. This includes "psychic powers". But we each have all of these qualities and abilities available to us. It is just a question to claim them. Intuition is the realm of both the 2nd and 9th bodies so one can access these "powers" more easily with strong 2nd and 9th bodies. There are yoga exercises and meditations to strengthen any body you choose to develop. But in general, any Kundalini yoga kriya helps because as you're clearing blocked energy, and, as you do, you are also making your body more sensitive and therefore better able to perceive the truth and intuit. And like anything you do in this life, if you practice something you get good at it. To practice "psychic powers" you can give yourself exercises. For instance, before going home to your family, ask yourself: "What's the feeling like at home? How does my mom, father, sibling, spouse, child, friend feel right now? Is there tension or is it light hearted?" and feel whatever happens in your body and mind, that's your answer. and then when you get home you know if you got it right. Or after a sport event and you don't know the outcome, ask yourself what the outcome is and expect an answer. You'll be wrong sometimes because you want too much and your ego is in the way. Just learn to distinguish between ego desire and the simple truth. Anytime you have a chance to check your perception, practice your intuition and then check your answer. You can ask a friend to hide their hand behind their back with 1 up to 5 fingers showing. And you need to know in your mind how many they are showing. See a hand in your mind's eye and ask how many fingers your friend is showing behind their back. Then check with your friend by telling them first how many fingers you saw in your mind's eye. Of course don't let them fool you! Trust yourself! The practice of Sat Nam Rasayan (healing technique taught by Yogi Bhajan to Gurudev Singh who teaches the rest of us with the help of teachers he taught) is a great way to improve one's intuition. The space one develops in Sat Nam Rasayan is perfect (innocence, stability, non-doing, non-judgmental, etc) is just right to ask for answers and receive them. The trick is to drop ego desires, otherwise you'll fool yourself. Not a bad thing. we can learn from that too! Cheers! Blessings, Awtar S.
