Blessings from Brenna in Vancouver Kundaliniyoga [Kundaliniyoga] On Behalf Of Kathleen Villarreal Tuesday, March 14, 2006 4:20 PM Kundaliniyoga Kundalini Yoga Following the soul's guidance Sat Nam, In reply for where to begin, or how to maintain personal practice. Through personal experience of practicing with a certified teacher and also my own home practice that "I found my way home" after lots of trial and more trial (there was never an error). Your yoga practice must be experienced, and it comes in many forms, there were times I forgot that taking a deep breathe is a gift. When I first returned home from a hospital stay to recover and heal, it was hard just to breath, physically. So what better place to start my practice? The Breathe of Life, and here's what happened..... Emotions, thoughts, physical limits, you name it, I sat with it....got to know it, sense it....I really was at a place where I just had to recognize and go into those dark places, turn on the Light to see them. All the answers I had searched for outside, have been inside my heart, like the seed of a flower waiting to blossom. Trust the guidance of your heart, it will take you where you want to be. Thanks to this on-line group of generous, kind teachers and students. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Truly, divine feelings can be experienced through the practice of KY. The state of one-pointed mind can be increased in our daily activities though not to be always expected as a permanent state. KY activates Intuition and allows better access and communication between the different facets of the personality, ultimately allowing us access clearer information free of personal alterations and biases. Though I can't really see how we as individuals are all one. Surely, we all possess the same essence but that does not undermine our individuality. Also, whether it is philosophically or logically speaking, it is illogical to equate ourselves (creations) with the creator directly without admitting to our finiteness for this might affect our egos negatively! Being the instruments of the creator does not make us any less divine than we are. Our individual souls are "of" and always connected in a relation to the Universal spirit though we might fall in error to think that we "totally" reflect it. We might share the glory, though we are not the source. Conditions and events can sometimes dictate our responses and choices. To acknowledge and accept that ironically allows us access to more resources, since we realize a better position than the previous one we had before. Commissioned servants acting by the authority and power of the Universal Consciousness, rather than the weak creators (with no absolute power to create) we perceive ourselves to be. Just a thought to share, Sat Nam Sahib Singh
