In Buddhism it's referred to as the experience of the Dharmakaya, or the "Embodiment of Truth." The first Sikh Guru was drown into a profound state of meditation and retired into a cave for a number of weeks. When he came out, his first words were, "Sat Nam." or "I am the Truth." It's a statement of realization, of recognition of one's beginninless ground, eternal source of single pervasive consciousness. In this way, there is a similar experience and statement, which is "I am the Light of the World." which is also found in all the religions meaning the recognition and beginingless recollection that "I am Consciousness Itself" or That "which lights everyone born into this world." You will also find Krishna expressing the same experiences to Arjuna. In short, Sat Nam is a statement of one's experience of Eternal abiding as Truth. For more on this aspect of Kundalini Yoga practice and experience you might also go to the weblink: http://www.kundalini-matashakti.com/radiant.html Take up the practice and find this out for yourself.
