I only wanted Parminder to think again from a perspective he had not considered beofre arriving at a decision. The 4 stages of life that are mentioned in the Gita are to be followed in every lifetime, untill, like you said, one reaches that stage in spirituality where one doesn't need to conform to these paths/rules of spiritual advancement. Its probably a deep rooted insecurity inside me that made me suggest that to him. Many a times we think we don't need a particular thing in our lives, but over time we feel the lack of it and by then its too late to change things -better to be safe than sorry! . But you're right. Untill he walks his own path, he will never know what was right for him. LIke Guru Rattan said in this mont's ezine - that we are not here to find our comfort zone, but to eveolve.
