Guest guest
hi, Firstly I appriciate the efforts of this site "Kundalini Yoga". While doing Yoga , i came to kno that only physical conduct of Asanas and Pranayaam can't help us to get maximum results... Actually it also depends on our desires too.i mean wat we wanna obtain from yoga. For the physical welfare ,Asanas and Prayanam is a panacea.if we do it in a right way ,we will surely get results. But when we think ourselves more than a body,we will have to take ourselves in the fathoms of ancient procedures and tequniques of Yoga in Buddhism and hinduism. Here i want to add one thing that today's Yoga stresses only on body and ancient yoga also thought about sprituality and salvation called "Kaivalya" or "Moksha"... So i suggest such people to read the books like Yog-Vaashishtha and SriMadBhagawat who looks yoga more than a body-maintaining exercise. Again thanz to the magnifivent endeavour of "Kunadlini Yoga"
Guest guest
Thank you for bringing this up. You said: Here, I want to add one thing that today's Yoga stresses only on body and ancient yoga also thought about sprituality and salvation called "Kaivalya" or "Moksha." I was wondering about this as well and came across a resource that goes into all paths of Yoga and speaks of Modern vs. Ancient Yoga. It is quite interesting.
