Sat Nam!

I bought a copy of "Kundalini Yoga: The Flow of Eternal Power,"

which speaks highly of onion, garlic, and ginger.  Had pollen /sinus

issues afterward.  Just like you, some part of my mind said to eat

an onion.  I did.  Problems gone in about four hours.  Awesome,

isn't it; :)

Gratefully,

Danny

the pan a little so that the ghee was deep and let it sit for 3

minutes, or so. Long enough for the ghee to draw out the garlic's

essence. I then put all of this on a piece of toast.

My sore throat was gone in about an hour.

Hi Danny,

Thanks for passing on your discovery. Did you have the onion straight?

Tuning in with the Adi Mantra as part of our practice does a lot to open

us up to all kinds of information and wisdoms, even if we are beginners.  We

start listening and trusting our self more. It's a break from  the heady,

technological chatter that surrounds most of us.

There is a Dagara shaman named Malidoma who had some interesting things

to share about our place in this world.

An excerpt from an interview with him below:

*The Dagara worldview holds a natural law hierarchy wherein the vegetable

kingdom is closest to a spiritual source, then come the animals, and lastly,

man. Man is the lowest or farthest from spirit and not the other way around

as Western beliefs would hold. Why? *

The hierarchy from spirit to man is based on an understanding of cosmic

order that the earth and its various elements participate in. The reason the

vegetable world---the world of trees and plants and so forth---is considered

to be the most evolved and intelligent species is that it reveals to the

animal and human realms the vortices through which one may access other

dimensions and other planes.

*How does the vegetable kingdom reveal itself to humans? *

This is simply through the detection of some kind of communicative mode that

plants get into at night.

*The humans or the vegetables or both? *

Let me take it hierarchically. First, the animals did notice this

communicative mode. And what was noticed was that the light of the plant at

night is different from its light during the day. And that difference is

about a certain cosmic connection. What they noticed was that a plant was

talking to another plant.

*The animals tuned in psychically to what was going on in the plant world?*

Yes, and a human was there, a hunter, watching. One thing you have to

understand is that communication---like you and I talking---could be seen by

a third party watching us as waves going out of me and lighting up all kinds

of different possibilities. It is possible when someone cannot hear to still

understand what is going on by setting a shock wave. Follow those lights as

they touch on the different wires inside your self. You can get meaning out

of it. What happened is that an animal seeing different lights going off

jumped into that pattern.

*So the human hunter noticed this---he was very observant. *

A lot of what you may call supernatural knowledge was brought to the tribe

mostly by hunters. They'd go out hunting for days or months at a time and

instead of bringing back dead animals, they'd bring back knowledge about the

animal world. And the animal world would get its knowledge from the plant

world. And so you are fed by the very being that is higher than you.

*Okay. Could you explain that? *

You are nourished by the being that is higher in climate than you. What this

means is that if you eat vegetables, there is, in fact, a cleansing

cleansing mechanism taking place. If you eat the body of an animal, there's

also a cleansing, but there's something nourishing in it which is not the

same as the plant that you'd eat. And the reason is that every time a being

is higher, that being is there to help pull lesser beings into that higher

realm.

*Therefore, a more evolved source for me to be nourished by, would be an

animal. And higher yet would be the** Vegetable Kingdom. *

And the next, next, next----the ultimate is what they call the being of

light.

Terms of Service.

Ate some of it like it was a dang apple, :).  The rest of it with some Indian tv dinner, lol.  It does amaze me how much lighter I feel eating only vegetables.  First day of it, I tried eggs.  But they suddenly tasted nasssttttty. So no meat, no eggs here.  Though I am still trying to get off so much caffeine.  Drinking Yogi Tea now and that is helping: Ginko in a.m. and Bedtime in p.m.  I would like to try ghee sometime.
