There are 108 names of Amma, which satsang groups usually chant together these days. Mother will more than likely come to London this fall, so go see > Her again, and get that darshan this time! Amma is scheduled to be in London October 24-26. You can find out about the tour at www.ammachi.org Om Amriteshwariyai Namah. Kenna

I could probably have made it more clear that I was speaking of India, where the 1000 names are done this way at Her tour programs, up to 5 times a day on some stops. Last year (in India) the 1000 names of certain planets were also done as part of special protective pujas. Incredible energy! At Mother's ashram (Amritapuri) the 1000 names are done every morning before 5 AM and also after evening bhajans now. The evening session is done by the brahmacharinis and they do the "short" version, which leaves off the Om and Namah. Mother has often stressed the importance of the daily chanting of the 1000 names. Someday, maybe I will learn them, especially if I could just sit in Amritapuri long enough (please Ma!) Jai Amma, Eknath
