Guest guest
Zen says: Think of all the great words and great teachings as your deadly enemy. Avoid them, because you have to find your own source. You have not to be a follower, an imitator. You have to be an original individual; you have to find your innermost core on your own, with no guide, no guiding scriptures. It is a dark night, but with the intense fire of inquiry you are bound to come to the sunrise. Everybody who has burned with intense inquiry has found the sunrise. Others only believe. Those who believe are not religious, they are simply avoiding the great adventure of religion by believing. Remember ,In general none of the blind followers of anybody have got it . e.g : Any spiritual gurus ( exceptions may be there ) with Luv R K R Mumbai

We are Ammas children and her love is our Koan that will be the instrument of our realization. Yes, we all have to find our own source, or to put it differently, we've to become aware of the fact that God was always there right in our heart, behind every thought and in all what we perceive. Zen is Dyana. Making the mind subtle and onepointed to go beyond it finally. That is very difficult and needs normally years of practice. Few people can do that. But everybody can receive mothers darshan and serve a little in her mission. For me it is very inspiring to see Amma doing all sorts of things very playful. She is working so much, still every day is a feast of love. She is a big mother who rejects nobody. Some people come with twisted motivs to Amma and she welcomes them, lets them feel her love and eventually they realize that they've come for a petty little thing. To be in the presence of a true master is the best thing that can happen to an aspirant. The sriptures tell that and from my own experience I can tell it is true. She'll make you fit to find your own way one day but are we able to find the beauty in ourselves all the time alone? With her fragrant love and sweet energy she attemts to spark our longing for more, to nourish the lovingness in us. She want to see us grow and become independent love-distributers. If you have the capacity to do self inquiry she'll help too.( there was at least one person living in the ashram who did a Zen like practice and reached somewhere) If you want to do a blind believer-Tell me what to do in my life trip with Amma she'll say: great! Lets play! But one day Kali will present a different game: Take responsibility for your life and face all your inner resistances towards growth. We might want to skip that but she has hooked us with her love. I believe she is a true spiritual mother who has the power, love and wisdom to make our hearts blossom. If you can follow Patanjali's Yoga sutras right away or sit 10 hours a day like a normal Zen monk you can eventually skip the "Ammas darling child play" and avoid the words of the masters to perceive your oneness with your buddhanature.
