Reminds me of an old encounter with Amma Long ago I had a brief encounter with Amma in which I confessed to her that I dislike her ego.--- I forgot what exactly was the point what I had very opposing views about.--- Anyway I confronted her with my attitude towards her and said: I don't know if I can bear to stay with you here(in Vallickavu,India) because I don't like your ego. "I also don't like my ego" was her reply which left me baffled. Later another deciple remarked: Oh, did she admit that she has an ego?! Anyway in the long run I found out that it is foolish to expect her to be the way I like. She is a mystery with many faces. On other occasions she made tangibly clear that she knows my secret wishes very well and out of love played with me the way I wanted. Later again she ignored me. Ruba's message reminds me of how Amma gave me "We are all Amma's children" and when I was at Her Ashram in January, I was going around to people from different countries and asking them to write down that phrase with the vision of a calendar to benefit Amma's schools, with pictures of Amma and children and that phrase in many languages.
