Guest guest
- Amriteswari Society AMMA'S CHILDREN Sunday, August 20, 2000 11:12 PM Amriteswari Society News - August 20, 2000 Om Namah Sivaya Amriteswari Society News - August 20, 2000 Praying Or Crying For Mother Children, crying has a power to make the mind completely one pointed..... when we cry we can forget everything effortlessly.... The agony caused by the longing to see God is not sorrow; it is bliss.... Some people would say the crying for God is mental weakness.... the happiness experienced from God and the thought of Him is everlasting. That weakness is sufficient for us - Ammachi Just call out, but let the call come from your heart. Just as a child cries out for food or to be ... cuddled by (her) his mother, call out Her (Him) with the same intensity and innocence.... Children... no other sadhana will give you the bliss of divine love as effectively as sincere prayer - Ammachi Ammachi explains that we don't have to undergo any academic training to love the supreme being. When we cry and pray to Mother, she must reveal herself. She cannot sit silent and unmoved when we call her like that. (From 'The Path of the Mother' by Savitri L.
