In Washington DC last month, I was supposed to walk Amma to Her room after darshan. I was getting a bit anxious as it was already past 3pm I felt Amma should end quickly so She could take some rest. I was waiting right in front of Her near right leg, face towel ready, extending my hand so She could put Her weight on it as She stood up. I was anticipating Amma's every move, almost ! Contrary to my plans, Amma kept calling people in the darshan line, and suddenly people from all over the huge ballroom darted to the line. Moreover, a big discussion about "Purnam" started. One man blurted out to Amma, " I want to speak Malayalam so I can talk to you Amma!" Amma laughed and said that in words there is no Love only ego. She told him that he should go beyond languague, to the heart. Amma said that in the Heart there is only Love and that Love is purnam and full. There is nothing beyond it and only ONE exists, not two. Amma said "Randilla"-- "there is no such thing as TWO." The man was crying because he realized he and all of us innately are one with Amma. Everyone marvelled in Amma's beautiful satsang. Suddenly She was up up and away, and the next thing I new She was practically out the door and I RAN to catch up!
